Chess Associations
There are several Federations and Associations that govern the chess community. The two major governing bodies are the United States Chess Federation (USCF) and the International Chess Federation (FIDE). In addition the USCF, each state has their own chess association such as the Illinois Chess Association (ICA) and the Iowa State Chess Association (IASCA).
